Airport Foundation MSP has made the difficult, but necessary decision to temporarily suspend all Travelers Assistance operations, effective Sunday, March 15. The decision was made out of an abundance of caution, to reduce the number of people on the MSP Airport campus and to slow opportunities for transmission of the COVID-19 virus.

This decision means we have asked our team of more than 600 volunteers, who staff information booths, roam the airport to assist travelers and provide therapy animals, to stay home until we turn the corner on the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The vast majority of these volunteers are 60+ years old, having an increased vulnerability to illness.

We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are following recommended guidelines and best practices from both state and federal health officials.
