First impressions are important. That’s why art is a major part of MSP Airport’s restroom facelift.
Ceramists Barbara Keith and Michael Sweere were the first local artists selected to create colorful 10’ x 5’ tile murals reflecting the beauty of Minnesota’s landscapes. In March of 2016 Mercury Mosaics installed vibrant work in the Airport Mall restrooms.
Over time, all of MSP’s 300-plus restrooms will become state of the art ‘welcome’ centers, introducing travelers to our state and its vibrant, eclectic arts community.
