How long have you volunteered with the Airport Foundation MSP?
“4 years”
What type of shift do you typically do?
“Midday booth shifts, 3 times a month, 2 training days.”
Why was the Foundation an appealing place to volunteer?
“Having flown for Delta for 40 years, 23 of them here in MSP, I know airports, I understand travel anxiety, and I love MSP.”
What is your favorite part of volunteering at the airport?
“I love offering suggestions on local sights, airport attractions, and have always loved maps, so giving directions is my forte.”
What would you tell others who are considering volunteering with the Foundation?
“Do it. It’s like you’re part of a mini-city of familiar faces, people watching is like nowhere else, and if you like the hustle and bustle of crowds from all over the world, it can be really stimulating.”
